I got to sit down with the owner of “Royal Pink,” and also favorite girl boss of mine. She allowed me to pick her brain and get all the juicy info on whats happening next with “Royal Pink!” Im so excited to share this with my readers because she is an inspiration to me, and I feel there is a lot you can take away from this young lady!
Gabby: How do you structure your days?
Breana: I plan everything a day before for content. Fashion is forever changing, and I want to continue to stay relevant. I tend to do a lot of planning while I’m sleepy. It seems to be the time when my mind does the most thinking.
Gabby: Where and how do you work best?
Breana: I work from my in home office, The best way for me to work is in complete silence.
Gabby: What tools do you find indispensable for accomplishing tasks?
Breana: Girl, I absolutely love this app called Apphi, its great for posting to social media without even having to actually get on the app itself..let me show you it (*showing me the app). You should definitely get it, It’s so convenient.
Gabby: What would you have done differently if you knew then what you know now?
Breana: I would have started with a team. The help that they have provided me is like no other. They contribute to the success of my brand. My team has helped build me in areas where I am weak, as well as helped boost sales.
Gabby: What’s the best advice you ever received?
Breana: I’d have to say the best advice was when Mia Ray of Glamaholoic Lifestyle told me to go up in my prices, and to offer free shipping. I have realized that since taking her advice, I have received more purchases and less abandoned carts at checkout.
Gabby: Who are your biggest influences? Who do you admire most? Who or what inspired you to do what youre doing now?
Breana: I have a few, but each of them have inspired me all in different ways. Mia Ray of “Glamaholic Lifestyle,” because she just simply keeps it real, no sugar coating, and is like a big sister. Sonya of “SonyaBee Boutique,” because she seems to have so much fun and is the perfect “Cali girl.” And Nichole Lynel, because even though she is a hard worker and making moves, she is so cute and has that “girly” vibe.
Gabby: What’s your best advice for handling criticism?
Breana: Don’t take it personal, Its just business! Sometimes its good to listen to it and improve in certain areas!
Gabby: Whats next for you?
Breana: Royal Pink fashion Studio is what’s next for me. I want it to be more then just a place where women can shop. I want it to be a place where women can pray and uplift one another. I’m all about sisterhood and women empowerment!!
Gabby: Why did you start Royal Pink and where do you see it in 5 years?
Breana: Royal Pink was started because it was given to me by God. Ive always been into fashion, but I wasn’t sure where it would take me. In 5 years, I see Royal Pink being a ministry. Its not about what I can get out of it but what others can get out of it. I want it to go farther then clothes and fashion!
Gabby: What do you want your legacy to be?
Breana: I want to be known as the girl who never stopped. I want to be known for empowering and uplifting others because this journey isn’t about me. I want to be known as the silent billionaire, not one who was flashing her money and always talking about it.
